Gene Hofford
Being the webmaster, I decided to put some folks on this page who probably wouldn't ask
to be here. This is the case with Gene. He has a surfing era hit titled Surf Bunny,
and currently has a tape which he wrote and sings all the songs. A nice tape to listen to.
Thanks goes out to Gene and his better half, Sue for providing us with great entertainment
every week-end.
denotes that a tape is available at the Alvin Opry

Kimberly Lanier
There is a star in Alvin Texas which should be born!
We recently bought a tape made by the back-up singer Kimberly Lanier. She is Gene's and
Sue's daughter. We recognized her talent right off. She has a great voice and is
comfortable singing every song we have seen her sing. This is why we bought the tape. The
tape is really a wonderful addition to our country and western collection. I know I will
be listening to it often. I only wish someone from a record label would listen to this
dynamic singer. Then all of our country would have the pleasure that we can experience in
Alvin Texas. |

Ramblin Corky
Corky aways has something to add to the performance at the Opry. He
sings some thought provoking songs. He has some antics which keep us all laughing. But
most of all he looks Nice!!!!!

Mary Dooley
" I travel all over Texas singing at different oprys. The Alvin Opry
is the greatest." I'm sure the quest would agree Mary, and you are one of those who
help to make it that way. |
